Student Chapters
News from NAU
NAU ASTA worked hard this semester helping Shelley Rich prepare for Arizona's first ASTA CAP. A total of 46 students registered for take part in the event. NAU ASTA members helped Mrs. Rich address, stuff, and send out letters for registered students. They also helped set up and run the warm-up and performance rooms and proctor the examinations. The ASTA CAP was a huge success. Now NAU ASTA hopes to host two clinics before the end of the year. Mimi Butler expressed an interest in coming to NAU to talk about how to run a private studio. Also, NAU's ACDA chapter requested a clinic on figuring bowings in symphony music and the logic involved in determining how to bow passages.
