Bass Jam 2009!
Can you imagine a day devoted to the unsung heroes of the orchestra, the underappreciated bass players? Bass Jam is just that kind of day! Not only will the lonely bass players be welcomed at Bass Jam, they will be surrounded by other big-hearted lovers of the bass.
During the morning of fun, students will improve their skills in bass classes with master teachers and also listen to a special guest performer. The culminating event is a recital of the combined bass classes and a performance by the senior division competition winner for parents and friends.
Bass Jam has two parts: the optional Solo Competition on Friday December 4 at Mesa High School and the Workshop for all bass lovers on Saturday, December 5 at Dobson High School.
